Welcome I'm Dr. Christine Brown, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor  and Counselor Educator based in the Chicagoland area. l  As a Black female therapist, I understand the unique cultural and societal challenges that can impact mental health and well-being.  My practice is dedicated to providing safe, supportive, and empowering space for individuals, families, and communities to heal. Together, we will work collaboratively on strategies that address your unique needs and goals, helping to achieve greater awareness, integration, and regulation.  I bring over 30 years of experience in helping clients navigate life's challenges through a holistic approach that integrates the mind, body, and spirit.  My therapeutic style combines talk therapy, somatic work, relational cultural theory, tailored to illuminate and concretize a path toward healing.  I accept Prime Health, Decent Health, Atena, BCBS, and United Health Care

The LOVE BROWN  COUNSELING HUB  is primarily focused on empowering persons, couples, families, and communities that have experienced challenges experiencing confidence, empowerment, A healing, energizing and reflective approach is taken to build upon inner strengths and resilience.  Dr. Brown engages individuals, couples and families in their personal journey to  achieve physical,  spiritual, and psychological wellness.

Symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, and trauma are some of the most common symptoms that may result in feelings and thoughts of unsafety and discomfort. Through psychotherapy individuals are able to reach a journey for  healing.

Psychotherapy can be a cultural experience that can release fear and anxiety for persons of color who have suffered discrimination, microaggression, and trauma related to race, gender, and sexual identity. Dr. Brown subscribes to an intersectionality approach that creates safety as clients explore who they want to become.

Many individuals are not aware how trauma can negatively impact their physical (body), emotional (feelings), psychological (thoughts/behaviors) , and spiritual growth.  A healing-centered approach focuses on the client's strengths, abilities, and personal goals.

Dr. Brown is an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and available for clinical supervision to support counselors in their goal to secure clinical license in the state of Illinois .  Consultation is provided for those in private practice or seeking clinical   supervision in other settings.

Dr. Brown is also available for speaking engagements
